Ubisoft revealed the Ghost Recon Future Soldier Beta will start for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 from April 19th until May 3rd. To gain access to the beta, you may either pre-order Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for Xbox 360 at GameStop, and get an Xbox 360 beta key, be a PlayStation Plus subscriber, and get a PS3 beta key or own a copy of Splinter Cell: Conviction, that will enable you to access the beta straight from the game.
The Beta will enable 12 gamers to select one of three classes and participate in the Conflict game mode on two distinct maps, Pipeline and Mill. Conflict has your team carry out objectives through the entire map to gain points over a single 15 minute round. On the 26th of April, the Saboteur game mode is going to be added in. This has both groups battle for a bomb which spawns in the center of the map before transporting it to the opponent’s base and detonating it. Saboteur games take place over a single 10 minute round.
Additionally Ubisoft has introduced a free companion service for Ghost Recon, referred to as Ghost Recon Network, which is available from tablets, smartphones and web browsers. Check out the video below for more details.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is scheduled for a May 22 release on Xbox 360 and PS3, with a PC release following on June 12.
